When to involve additional support

Some situations require more than school involvement.

You may need additional support if:

  • your child is at risk of harm

  • the situation is escalating

  • there is physical violence

  • you feel the response has been insufficient

Who may be involved

Depending on the situation:

  • safeguarding leads

  • local authority services

  • police (in serious cases)

  • specialist support organisations
